Research Area:
Heterogeneity of soil physicochemical properties and Microplastics in agricultural environment

Research Experience:

Prof. Shaoliang Zhang’s research covers areas including of soil science, agricultural ecology and landscape ecology. In recent decades main focuses on the heterogeneity of soil physicochemical properties and Microplastics in agricultural environment, and aims to identify and quantify the ecological function of the heterogeneity of these elements in agricultural environment. This is highly related to land degradation and development. Shaoliang received his PhD from the Northeast institute of geography and agroecology, CAS, and is currently a professor in the College of Resources and Environment, Northeast Agricultural University.
